I’ve always said that human and animal bonds are the strongest of any bond in the world. Far more significant than the bond humans can create with each other.
If you think about it, you can’t speak words to each other, yet the loyalty, the unconditional love, the understanding a human and animal can have is so deep it can't even be expressed in words, it is only felt by the heart.
To be honest, I had never experienced unconditional love, until I got a dog. Even when I was least deserving of it and it seemed the entire world was against me, Dolly showed me love, and really... that’s all you need isn't it?!
Dolly, I love you... and I miss you with all my heart.
